American Airlines Names Carolyne Truelove Vice President of Reservations and Customer Relations


American Airlines announced at the end of August that Carolyne Truelove will be joining the company as vice president of reservations and customer relations.

"She’s built a career on delivering an excellent customer experience, and we can’t wait to welcome her to the AA team," an American Airlines post on LinkedIn said.

Prior to this new role, Truelove was head of global fan experience at Fanatics, Inc. Before that she was vice president of customer experience at Orbitz.

Truelove describes herself as an organizational leader and influencer who develops and executes collaborative, complex strategies consistently resulting in high performance globally, across end-to-end customer experience support services. She's a proven leader of high-performing executives and staff with solid business acumen, analytical and negotiation skills, industry connections, and strong partnerships. Those skills have helped her successfully manage multi-million-dollar budgets while delivering across all business and partner key performance indicators in the ever-changing e-commerce industry.

With over 25 years of travel industry and contact center experience, Truelove's leadership skills are well seasoned to develop and execute new strategies, leveraging technologies, process engineering, and an amazing talent pool of team members to garner positive customer experience and business results.
