In this clip from the Women Leading Travel & Hospitality August 25 Virtual Exchange, June Ryan talks about the power of setting intentions.

"High achievers don't listen to their mind, they talk to it." These words were said by June Ryan at the Women Leading Travel & Hospitality Virtual Exchange last week, where she led an interactive workshop on leadership and professional development.

During her highly successful career in the United States Coast Guard, Ryan was a trailblazer, achieving many historical firsts for women, including the first enlisted woman to rise to the rank of Rear Admiral. She was the first woman to serve as the Military Advisory to the Secretary of Homeland Security and only the third woman in our nation’s history to serve as the Military Aide to the President of the United States.

Ryan is an active community leader, nonprofit board member and community volunteer. She's a 2017 graduate of the esteemed Leadership Cleveland program, and was elected by her peers to serve as the class president. Ryan continues her strong advocacy for civic leadership and community service as a member of the 2018 Leadership Cleveland 2 cohort. She's a volunteer in the Coast Guard Auxiliary, at her church, and at local schools where she speaks on a variety of topics, including achieving your dreams and the success principles.
