There are fewer women in the workforce today than there have been since 1988, Cindy Solomon, founder, CEO and president of the Courageous Leadership Institute, shared in her keynote speech at the Women Leading Travel & Hospitality Roundtable in Dallas earlier this month.
"It's not a glass ceiling, it's just a thick layer of men," Solomon quipped. She added that it's frustrating that we're talking about the same gender disparity issues we were discussing 25 years ago. To remedy that issue, Solomon helps women develop the courageous leadership skills necessary to thrive in their current and future roles.
