Skift Take

We asked Natalia Bayona of World Tourism Organization and Uma Gopinath of Metrolinx what they are doing to empower women in travel technology positions.

At Women Leading Travel & Hospitality's Virtual Exchange last week, Natalia Bayona, director of the innovation, education and investments department at the World Tourism Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations, and Uma Gopinath, chief information officer of Metrolinx, a public transit agency in Toronto, detailed what they're doing to empower women in travel technology positions. In addition, Bayona and Gopinath discussed the steps they and their organizations are taking to get more women into the technology field, especially in leadership roles.
