Jean Chatzky, “TODAY’s” financial editor, best-selling author and CEO of HerMoney.com, provided insight into her top investing tips specifically for women during a keynote presentation during Women in Retail Leadership Days, a month-long virtual celebration of women leaders. Chatzky outlined why women are better investors than men, and the three main factors that influence investing success, which include:

  1. how much you save;
  2. asset allocation; and
  3. individual stock selection.

Chatzky also discussed why it's essential that women take control of their finances and invest. She detailed her unique MoneyType personality test that was developed in conjunction with a psychologist and designed to uncover the traits that drive people's financial decisions.
