Amelia DeLuca to Lead Delta's Sustainability Efforts

Amelia DeLuca returned to Delta Air Lines' global sustainability team as chief sustainability officer on Aug. 1. She replaced Pam Fletcher, who plans to leave the company, according to a press release.

DeLuca previously served as vice president of sustainability and led cross-division efforts for alliances to deliver a consistent premium customer experience across Delta's partners, the release said. She also supports development of Delta's partner sustainability strategy. Delta has committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

Fletcher, who previously worked at General Motors, took on the chief sustainability officer role in February 2022.
